Painting and repairing motorcycle plastics is one of our specialties. Restoring original strength, shape and colour in small areas, whole units, or providing that one off special look for a custom motorcycle.
We can make whole fairings from previously unmatched components or divide whole parts to make very special one off parts for very special machines. The street fighter custom, for instance, made using modified belly pans and seat units from the original manufacturers fairing parts.
A fairing also represents a high proportion of the value of a modern bike and as such as is very expensive to replace. A lot of people don’t realise that these fairings can be repaired perfectly.
We use a technique known as plastic welding to make the initial repair in the broken torn, or scratched component. Then using high cost carbon fibre re-enforced pastes and compounds, we restore the strength and surface quality of the item in question.
The fairing or component is then primed painted and clear coated using coloured code primers for special paint finishes if required.
In all cases the original finish quality can be exceeded and in most cases the original strength restored.
